Sourcing:
Based in Qingdao (a vibrant manufacturing hub in Nothern China)
Teknatool has established relationships and collaborations with many suppliers,
allowing our facility to source virtually anything that may be required.
We offer a professional, quality service - from simple sourcing through to a
full design and process consultation. Our biggest advantage, apart from the fact
that you are dealing with a Western Company, is that we can cater for
smaller runs and we're flexible. Teknatool International offers a high level of
communication, value for money and we're cost competitive with very quick turnaround.
We have deliberately based our China facility in a strong
manufacturing hub, where conceivably, anything required can be sourced - whether its
plastic injection moulding, rubber parts, mechanical parts, cast iron, standard
hardware, electronics, and even packaging. Qingdao is a major shipping port in
China, which provides a another advantage in rapid and reliable shipping
services (which we can organise for you if you'd prefer)
Manufacturing:
Our own manufacturing facility in Qingdao is based on western principles, and is
a highly efficient and organised manufacturing system utilizing
computer controlled machine tools (CNC) tools. Included in our plant is multi pallet horizontal
machining centres, which allow sophisticated machining of complex components in
house. But the best part about our service is that we are determined to find the
best solution for you and your company. That means we independently assess your
needs and determine which supplier would provide the best result for you -
whether that's another company or our own in house manufacturing.
Research:
We have teams of fully qualified Engineers on site in both Auckland and Qingdao.
We can provide a full service - with
product, application, industry and market research available. Teknatool
International has several unique collaborations with partner Universities in New Zealand
and China, combined with research associates in USA & Europe.
Design:
We use state of art solid modelling design tools (meaning often no
physical parts are required) and a concurrent design process in China and New Zealand, leading
to fast design turn around from concept. All our design team are fully qualified
engineers, headed by experienced and knowledgeable western engineers.
Distribution in USA:
Teknatool International has
warehousing facilities in San Francisco, California and in Nashville,
Tennessee which can be used to distribute your products in USA.
